My wife and I had an awesome time in California. You'd never know we spent the bulk of it in Fresno. I called Fresno "the Texas part of California" since it was flatter than a pancake and full of migrant workers. It did make me understand, tho, how folks from Oklahoma can feel so at home in Bakersfield. Right click and save any picture to see the full web version. If you'd like a printable version, email me and let me know. |
The bride and her bridesmaids were gorgeous. Kristy Brown -- hereafter to be known as Kristy Cantrell -- gave me the huge honor of officiating her wedding in Fresno. It was my first wedding to officiate, and I was NERVOUS.

But, hey, what did I have to worry about? I had all my papers signed. I had my little black book with the words printed and glued in. I had K-E-V-I-N and K-R-I-S-T-Y written in huge block letters, so I wouldn't mess up the name. |
It went off without a hitch, really. Well, not any hitch that the guests were aware of. The ceremony took less than five minutes. The dancing could've gone on all night.
CONGRATULATIONS KEVIN AND KRISTY CANTRELL!

Okay, so I don't know a whole lot about planets and stars, but I do know when to duck when it is suggested. Don't swallow it whole, but peruse for nuggets of wisdom.
